In a few days we will be celebrating Christmas together with family and friends. I just want to say a hearty Merry Christmas from the Woody family to you and yours. I thought it would be fun to pen the Nativity story through the themes of Duck Dynasty. Enjoy!

It's a Happay, Happay, Happay birthday,
break the streamers out ya'll
A good ol' boy bash of the ages,
Angels herald with duck calls
Shepherds huntin for a Savior,
not some yuppie king of stuff
Fond of Faith, family, and facial hair,
that's a fact Jack! That's enuf!
These bumpkins down like a rodeo clown,
no need for gags employ
These rustic rednecks run routines
called Good news of Great joy
Wisemen weird all greet with “Hey”
sippin ice tea from a jar
They travel east from Vietnam,
they're followin yonder star
They ditched their camels- for four wheels
their pick-ups in pursuit
This babe born in a trailer park
dressed in overalls not a suit
Bluegrass bands a playin,
hillbilly heaven cuts a gig in our space
When a redneck runt rules a dynasty
Yuppie kings will bow to grace
