Need Prayer From Our Pastors? Click Here
I love to share original poetry especially during the holy-day seasons. Here is a poem as we move towards Christmas day.
Give me some of dat hope on a rope Not soap on a rope, not another tie this season We need some hope for our scope, not soap on a roap To celebrate this season for His reason Don’t need another sappy, sentimental sonnet Just some Hope in an optimistic bonnet Try on some faith-filled shoes Soon you’ll tap away the blues as they bee-bop you to Bethlehem Jesus thank for the Hope on a rope That causes us to cope when the cruisin to the crèche gets crazy Thank you for the star from afar, surely shines to where we are When terrain through the territory’s hazy Don’t need a Hollywood-like Haiku in a huddle With subversive verses seeking to befuddle We need some Hope on a rope, not soap on a rope This Christmas This Year Pastor Donny
