Ephesians 6:11- 12 “Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.”
There is a lot of division in our world today. We get so wrapped up in our politics and opinions we forget to see people as God sees them. Ephesians 6:11-12 gives us a new perspective.
It’s not the person we are fighting against rather the sin. When we have conflict as Christians we need to recognize that it is really humanity's sinful nature that we are fighting against, and not the “person”. Satan’s goal is to create conflict among God’s people in order to keep as many as he can from spending eternity with God. Remember we all have sinned, we all have fallen short, we all need forgiveness. Only when we begin to think this way, we begin to help one another become the people God has created us to be.
Is there a situation in your life that needs a perspective change?
