Here's a lovely poem written by our own Joyce Terrill:
He Is Near
God as I see your glory coming to life now
The flowers peeking their heads out to grow.
The trees with buds about to sprout,
I want to praise You and shout.
But then I hear the news
And I want, but can’t to run to the pews
And You remind me that You are near
And I should not fear.
Sweet peace comes over me then
And assurance victory over this invisible enemy we will win.
Use the hands and minds of doctors and scientists
Give wisdom to our leaders in the midst.
Lord, in the meantime, please place a hedge of protection
Over our world and families and give us direction.
Amen
