“You are not your own; you were bought at a price.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Remember who you are. Everyday there are plenty of opportunities to do wrong, but this one bit of wisdom can help refocus our lives. Because of what Christ has done for you, your life is no longer your own. You belong to Christ. He is yours. And you are his. There are so many voices in our world today, telling us the opposite of Christ’s message: You’re not worthy. You are a failure. You are pathetic. Too often we listen to these voices, rather than God’s. Whenever you find yourself battling against any kind of temptation, remember who you are. You are a child of God. You were purchased with the blood of Jesus. You are not your own. You belong to him. Because you are his, he will never leave you. You will never be alone. God is for you. God’s spirit dwells within you. Christ’s power is available to you. So today, don’t let anyone or anything steal your true identity in Christ. Remember who you are. Remember whose you are. -Pastor Michael Photo by Pro Church Media on Unsplash

Pastor Michael, Pat Krallman called me to get the contact information for our daughter and son-in-law in Cedar Rapids. She said your friends in CR wanted to help them with clean-up after the storm. I sincerely believe this is an answer to my prayers and the prayers of other church family members. Lori & Bryan don't go to church nor does their daughter who has two small children. What a golden opportunity to show them God's love. I will be praying for a good outcome.
