Need Prayer From Our Pastors? Click Here
Do you ever worry? Do you ever find yourself with a heaviness upon you? Recently I have found myself in this state and don’t understand why. I believe in my heart that I have fully committed my life to the Lord and that all that I have and all that I will do is in Gods hands. So why do I find myself with a heavy heart?
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 My heart aches for this nation I love and to see the division is unsettling at times. Where do we put our faith in this situation? We have an election coming up that is the focus of the nation, we have been through the trials of Covid-19. Yet we still have our King Jesus on the throne, and this is where our peace should come from. We allow Jesus to wrap his arms around us and we do not live in fear. 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 There is nothing on the face of this planet that can bring us down when we hope in the Lord. Our lives should always be soaked in the word of God and who we are should be what tells others who we follow. Who we are as Christians should be enough for an unbeliever to doubt their unbelief! Deitrich Bonhoeffer We must remember that God has promised to “ never leave us nor forsake us “ do we believe in his promises always, or only when we feel we need him. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17 Have an amazing day! Pastor Marty
