Devotions with Pastor Marty

Today is the beginning of a new chapter in my life, I have taken a position with Washburn Tech teaching carpentry at the Kansas Juvenile Correctional Facility in Topeka. I will be teaching young men 16-20 who have been incarcerated for various offenses.


These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut,  and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Revelation 3:7-8


Only God opens the doors for us that we walk through and we can be certain that he is walking with us. With all that is going on and all that has gone on in our lives in 2020 rest assured that God is with us. He has already made the arrangements for our lives. I am looking forward to speaking life into these young men and hopefully lives will be changed and all glory given to God.
