Need Prayer From Our Pastors? Click Here
Dear Church Family:
Romans 8:31-39 Standing at the top of the slide my son was singing it, really it was hollering at the very top of his lungs, but in song, to his own tune, “God is always with meeeeeeeee!” I almost shushed him. Until I heard the words. He’s hit a frightful stage. Haven’t we all? Covid, riots, racism, natural disasters, media, politics, finances, food shortages... When Riko’s fearful I always tell him “God is always with you. There’s nothing to be afraid of, the Bible says ‘if God is for us then who can be against us.’ If you’re scared, pray and ask God to help remind you he’s always there.” It sounds so simple doesn’t it? But so hard to actually practice. Maybe if we keep saying it soon we will believe it. Maybe if we remind ourselves each time that ugly anxiety begins to creep it’s head. Maybe we should write it on our door posts or foreheads? Maybe you should sing it at the very top of your lungs like Riko, shout it from the mountain tops. However you can remember it today, just rest in knowing that God is always with you. He’s got your back. He loves you more than imaginable. The creator of the galaxies knows your name and has numbered the very hairs on your head. And if He is for you, what can there be to be afraid of. Missing your faces, Pastor Delinda
