Think! Think! Think!
A pondering by Holly Woodbridge The Joy of the Lord is My strength If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy, down in my heart? Except sometimes I can’t find strength, I‘m not happy, and I don’t have joy. On those days I need to get my thinking in right order, but I feel more like Winnie the Pooh, a bear of little brain. It takes quite a bit of effort to correct my thoughts. Philippians 4:8 gets me headed in the right direction. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Here is an exercise to try the next time your mind gets hijacked.
