Dear Church Family:THE STORMS OF LIFE
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
In this world we will face all kinds of obstacles, trials and tribulations and we should be wary of any doctrines or teachings that say we shouldn’t have to face these things. Why? Because the Lord said we will have tribulations. So, the encouragement He is giving is simply this: You’re going to face trials, but GOD is greater than any problem you will face in this world!
Here are some things you can know about the storms of life:
God knows exactly where you are emotionally and mentally when trouble hits.
He understands your frustration and need to ask why a certain event has taken place.
He never condemns your feelings. Instead, He provides wisdom for all you face.
He will not leave you comfortless.
Jesus does not leave us on our own to deal with heartache and trials.
He has given us the Holy Spirit to comfort us when we are too weak to continue.
Think on His goodness and how He never fails you.
A promise you can claim:
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Update from WWCN
We apologize for the difficulty some of you experienced yesterday when attempting to access our live streaming worship service. We are working on the problem and think we have found a good alternative. If all else fails, go to our YouTube channel. Simply type in Wanamaker Woods Nazarene and the current worship service will come up. In fact, if indeed you did miss yesterday, you can still watch yesterday’s service on YouTube. Just follow the above directions.
We are all attempting to be compliant and practice “social distancing”. That said, if you have a need or emergency that we can help with, call the Church office number (785-273-2248) It is monitored 24/7
Please continue to pray for our Local, State, National and World leaders.
We will continue to send daily e-mail devotions, with any current updates.
Never forget, you are a child of The King; loved, blessed and protected by Him whose Grace is sufficient.
